Top Navigation and Maps Apps in Central America Q4 2023

During Q4 2023, the top 5 navigation and maps applications in Central America displayed varied performance metrics across weekly downloads, active users, and revenue, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Google Maps saw a fluctuating trend in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 142K in early December. Active users reached a high of around 5.1M in mid-December before dropping to 4.8M by the end of the quarter.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic experienced a consistent increase in weekly downloads, culminating at roughly 130K in the week leading up to Christmas. Active users varied, peaking at about 2.1M in mid-December and slightly declining to 1.8M by the end of the quarter.

Google Earth maintained steady weekly downloads, with a notable peak of 38K in late November. Active users showed a downtrend, starting from around 289K at the beginning of the quarter and ending at 246K by the end of December.

GPS Earth Maps Live Navigation observed a high point in weekly downloads at approximately 31K in late October. Active users increased steadily, peaking at about 88K in the week before Christmas.
